Be careful not to pinch the Upright Wire (87). Identify the Right Upright (85) and the Right Upright Spacer (91), which are marked with “Right” stickers. Align the oval hole in the Right Upright Spacer with the oval hole in the Base ( 95). If the holes do not line up, turn the Right Upright Spacer and try again. Hold the handrails and begin walking. The walking belt will begin to move at 1 mph. When the next segment of the workout begins, the treadmill will automatically adjust to the speed and incline settings for the next segment. A moment after you press the button, the treadmill will automatically adjust to the first speed and in- cline settings of the workout. Begin walking on the treadmill. Insert the ends of the Console Frame into the Left and Right Handrails (82, 83). Start all four Patch Bolts before tightening any of them. The connec- tors should slide together easily and snap into place. If they do not, turn on e connec tor and try a gain.Set the console assembly (A) on the Right Upright (85) and the Left Upright (not shown). Be careful not to pinch any wires. Insert the wires into the Right Handrail (83). Press a Handrail Cap (63) into the end of the Right Handrail and the Left Handrail (not shown). HOW TO PLUG IN THE POWER CORD Your treadmill, like any other type of sophisticated electronic equipment, can be seriously damaged by sudden voltage changes in your home?s power. Voltage surges, spikes, and noise interference can result fr om weather c ondition s or from other a ppliance s being turned on or off. To decrease the possibility of your treadmill being damaged, always use a surge suppressor with your treadmill (see drawing 1 at the right). Use only a sing le-outlet surg e suppressor th at is UL 1449 liste d as a transient vo ltage surge sup- pressor (TV SS). The surge sup pressor must ha ve a UL suppress ed voltage ratin g of 400 volts or les s and a minimum s urge dissipati on of 450 joules. The surge sup pressor must be el ectrically ra ted for 120 volts AC an d 15 amps. There mu st be a moni- toring ligh t on the surge supp ressor to indica te whether it is f unctioning pro perly. Failur e to use a properly fu nctioning sur ge suppressor co uld result in damage to th e control system o f the treadmill. If the control s ystem is damage d, the walking bel t may slow, acc elerate, or stop u nexpectedly, which may result in a f all and serious in jury. This product must be grounded. If it should malfunc- tion or break down, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of elec- tric shock. This product is equipped with a cord having a n equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. Plug the power cord into a surge suppressor, and plug the surge suppressor into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in a ccordance with all local codes and ordinances.
IMPORTANT: The treadmill is not compatible with GFCI-equipped outlets. This product is for use on a nominal 120-volt circuit, and has a grounding plug that looks like the plug illus- trated in drawing 1 below. A temporary adapter that looks like the adapter illustrated in drawing 2 may be used to connect the surge suppressor to a 2-pole receptacle as shown in drawing 2 if a properly grounded outlet is not available. The temporary adapter should be used only until a properly grounded outlet (drawing 1) can be installed by a qualified electrician. The green-colored rigid ear, lug, or the like extending from the adapter must be connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box cover. Whenever the adapter is used it must be held in place by a metal screw. Some 2-pole receptacle outlet box covers are not grounded. Contact a qualified elec- trician to determine if the outlet box cover is grounded before using an adapter. DANGER: Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in an increased risk of electric shock. Check with a qualified electrician or service- man if you are in doubt as to whether the product is properly grounded. As you exer- cise, the console will display continuous exercise feed- back. You can even measure your heart rate using the handgrip pulse sensor. In addition, the console features sixteen preset work- outs—six quick calorie workouts and ten performance workouts.
Each preset workout automatically controls the speed and incline of the treadmill as it guides you through an effective exercise session. The console also features an iFit training mode that al- lows your treadmill to communicate with your wireless network through an optional iFit Live module. The iFit Live module allows you to download personalized workouts, to track and analyze your workout results on the iFit Live website, and to access many other excit- ing new features. Insert the ends of the Console Frame into the Left and Right Handrails (82, 83). Start all four Patch Bolts before tightening any of them. Lift the Console Frame (102) and the Handrails (82, 83) off the Uprights (84, 85). If you are running that thing to the max, you will need a 2 or 4 gauge wire. Do it quickly, this starts a lot of fires when the wire melts. The plastic does not carry any type of ground. If your ground wire was melted, that means you have a 'hot' wire shorting across the ground somehow causing a short. This causes excessive heat like an 'arc' welder. You might want to check your power wire to make sure its not making any contact to ground. Make sure any foreign debris is not causing a 'bridge' between the 2 posts. If your terminals (or place where you hook up power and ground wires) are in good shape, re-wire and turn on the unit.If you're not comfortable with doing this, you should pay to have it repaired. I do think I am leaning more toward a daily driver, as the vehicle IS my daily driver. The first question is with regards to ohms. I've never done a 1 amp to 1 speaker configuration so I'm confused. The amp is an Audiobahn A2200HCX amp. I will be using one to power each speaker. The amp is listed as being 1 ohm stable, but the manual for some reason doesn't list a 1x speaker configuration, though it does say that it is bridgeable. A manual for a later version of the amp (for the A2200HCT) does list a 1x config. And to further complicate, based on the two scenarios above. Thanks for any info.
